NCHF

In December of 2025, NCHF, in collaboration with Mass Fish and Wildlife and Pequoig Farm, held a deer processing workshop for members of the Nipmuc/k community. Together, we butchered 3 deer and packaged the meat for distribution among tribal members, and others looking for a bit of traditional Nipmuck food. 

We want to thank Mass Fish and Wildlife for the shared vision, and Pequoig Farm for the beautiful collaboration and lessons shared with Nipmuc/k citizens, advancing shared goals of true traditional “Food Sovereignty."
