Men's Leather Regalia Workshop

This hands-on leatherworking workshop will introduce participants to the process of creating a buckskin loin cloth and leggings using traditional hand-sewing techniques.

Throughout the day, students will learn foundational skills including pattern layout, leather cutting, stitching, fringe application, and finishing techniques.

This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate makers. Skins to be provided free of charge to participating Nipmucks.

This event is hosted by the Chaubunagungamaug Band of Nipmuck Indians in collaboration with Michael "Redhawk" Bliss, from the Narragansett Nation of Rhode Island.
